Mt. Peale Inn /Lodge & Cabins
Mt. Peale Resort Inn/Lodge & Cabins is nestled in the La Sal Mountains but surrounded in both directions, by the desert paradise of Canyon Country; Moab, Arches & Canyonlands National Parks.

Take a Short Drive from Mt. Peale and experience a picturesque Sunset from Looking Glass Arch. A short hike awaits you at Wilson's Arch, Flat Iron Mesa, Mule Shoe and Kane Springs Canyons.

Guests of all ages can experience the historical walking tour of News Paper Rock, Pot Hole Point, Road Side Ruin, Cave Spring & Slick Rock Trail, the hidden treasures of the Needles District of Canyonlands.

The more adventurous hiker can take day trips to experience the unseen wonders of Canyonlands Back Country. The incredible journey to Davis or Lavender Canyons, Chesler Park, Joint Trail, Squaw Canyon, and the treasured, Druid Arch.

Avoid the crowds at Arches National Park by taking an early morning or evening hike to the Windows, Delicate Arch & Devils Garden Area. For the more advanced hikers, the primitive loop trail of Devil's Garden, twists through this red rock oasis, with breathtaking vistas in every direction.

Twelve miles from Mt. Peale, towards the Colorado border, offers a wonderful, peaceful stroll through Cash-Carry Canyon, A red rock haven. La Sal Creek, as it meanders through the Canyon, guides you to a waterfall, a creek side resting spot, and through the Canyon Mesa's, which are giving birth to new windows and arches.

The La Sal Mountains, a hidden alpine wonder, provides breathtaking scenery, offering spectacular views from any of our six Cozy rooms, cabins, dining room and hot tub. Take an opportunity to greet the morning, witnessing the incredible Sunrise over the San Juan Mountains, a true miracle of a "New Day".

Our location provides for Summer temperatures in the 80's when the desert heat seems unbearable. Within one mile of the Inn, the mountain opens up to hiking, biking, fishing, riding, and resting by one of the pristine mountain lakes.

Mt. Peale's, "Quality Home Cooking", the "favorite" of previous guests, is a sought after break from the vacation routine of eating at restaurants. Breakfast, dinner and desserts are available to you during your stay at Mt. Peale.

If your looking for a place to stay, close to all area activities but your desire is to avoid the crowds of Moab, come on out and snuggle up in one of our comfortable beds, cozy flannel sheets, (even in the summer), & experience great food and warm hospitality.
