Polar Plunge(s) for Special Olympics

Most folks are familiar with the organization Special Olympics and the terrific work they do in supporting intellectually challenged individuals. Now you can help support this effort by “freezing” for a cause…

Polar-Bear-Plunge

Special Olympics Utah is sponsoring 5 Polar Plunge events in February to help raise funds to support their mission.  When visiting any of these events, consider treating yourselves to an overnight at a Bed and Breakfast Inns of Utah member inn.

February 2, the plunge is at Pineview Reservoir, east of Ogden.

Stay at nearby Snowberry Inn in Eden or Huntville’s Valley House Inn

February 9, there are 3 plunges in various parts of Utah:

Cache County’s plunge is into Hyrum’s dam waters.
Stay in Logan at the Riter Mansion or at Providence’s Old Rock Church/Providence Inn

Central Utah’s plunge is at Saratoga Springs at Pelican Bay Marina, Utah Lake
Stay at any Salt Lake City area inn

St. George in Southern Utah will host the plunge at the St. George City Pool
Stay in local St. George member inns: Green Gate Village Inn or AhBella B &B

February 16, Deer Creek Reservoir, at the southern end of the Heber Valley will be the site of the plunge.

Stay in Park City at the Woodside Inn, Old Town Guest House, or Silver Moose Ranch, in Midway at the Blue Boar Inn, or in Kamas at the Woodland Farmhouse Inn.

All inns are inspected and approved Member Inns of the Bed and Breakfast Inns of Utah
