Teasdale is a small scenic town in the south-central portion of Utah. It is surrounded by the natural beauty of Utah's colorful Colorado Plateau. Located near the intersection of the Scenic routes of Highways 12 and 24, Teasdale offers easy access to numerous parks, lakes, forests, and historic sites. Visitors may choose from many activities, including camping, hiking, horseback and ATV riding, hunting, and fishing, as well as exploration of many of the sites of Utah’s prehistoric past. All of this and amazing views, too.

Nearby one can find Capitol Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain, Thousand Lake Mountain, the Henry Mountains, Anasazi Indian Village State Park, and Goblin Valley State Park. Capitol Reef National Park is a hiker's park with a myriad of trails for casual walking outings or serious hiking adventures. From the rock art lining the canyon walls to the orchards along the Fremont River, the interesting history of human presence can be seen.

The Muley Twist Inn is located on 30 acres in a grove of pinion pine at 7000 ft. The wrap porch overlooks the beautiful Fremont river valley and red rock cliffs. Teasdale is the gateway for Capitol Reef National Park, the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and the Dixie National Forest.
