Huntsville is a fairly small scenic town in the weber county of Utah. It is 10 miles east of Ogden right next to the two big Ski resorts in the area, and a smaller family based one. Snowbasin, Wolf Mountain, and Powder Mountain surround the Ogden valley. These Utah ski resorts provide a diverse variety of atmospheres and Skiing conditions. While Snowbasin is the largest and has the most diverse assortment of runs, Wolf Mountain is the smallest and provides the most relaxed family atmosphere. Powder Mountain is a beautiful Utah ski resort with many trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
Huntsville is also on the Pineview Reservoir which provides beautiful scenery and a wealth of activities. The Utah Pineview Reservoir is open to camping, boating, swimming, fishing and picnicking. The reservoir is stocked with fish for the avid fisher and is surrounded with trails though the Wasatch-Cache National Forest for hiking, Backpacking and camping.
