Eden Utah is a small town that is between Powder mountain and Snowbasin. These two big Utah Ski resorts provide very different Skiing experiences. Powder mountain provides few ski lifts and is more for cross country skiing rather than the classic down hill runs. On Powder Mountain is mostly based towards family skiing with easier runs and little in the way of entertainment, fin dining or after hour attractions. It has mostly green and blue runs with a few black, However, the Paradise Lift leads to an assortment of more technical black runs.
Snowbasin on the other hand is one of the oldest ski resorts in the untied states. Utah's Snowbasin is open most of the year due to their automated Snow machine. This allows Snowbasin to make snow to fit every visitors pleasure:Dry and light to please the powder lovers and hard and packed for the racing slopes. While snowbasin does provide a nordic trails for cross country skiing and snow shoeing it is more based on it's 104 different runs.
Another main attraction near Eden is Wolf Mountain Ski resort. It provides a cheap family orientated ski and snowboarding mountain. While being the smallest ski resort in Utah it is also the least expensive.
Eden Utah is also close to the Pineview Reservoir, which provides boating fishing, camp grounds, stocked fish, swimming beaches, picnic areas and drinking water. This reservoir is with in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This National Forest allows visitors a wonderful scenic area for camping and hiking.
